So I'm taking delivery of my MY04 on tuesday. I went and checked it out tonight (while they were closed) and found that the car was great, almost everything was perfect. However, there are two locations where the primer is showing.

One is right on the edge where the rubber meets the trunk (in between metal and the top). It almost looks like a fine sandpaper went over it, yet I've seen this on other new ones too.

The other spot is the front right fender, where there is the same wear, only in a scattered pattern about a inch square.

I don't know if it's damage, or if the paint didn't stick, or whatever. My question is, how do I handle this with the dealer? I'm not upset, as it's not a major issue, but an issue none the less. Any opinions? Is it normal to request that fixed?

I would bring it to their attention before you take delivery of the vehicle.
