taking key out of ignition
hey everyone,
jus curious to see if anyone else have had this problem? when i take the key out of the ignition, most of the time, it doesn't click. like it still thinks the key is in there, i then have to put my key back in and fiddle with it or something and then get it to click. maybe i should take it to the dealer since it's still under warranty?? well i jus wanted to see if other owners have this same thing? thanks

What do you mean by "click"?
After the key is out, is the engine off? Can you still turn the ignition switch with say, a screwdriver? If the engine shuts off and the ignition switch can't be turned, I don't see what the problem is.

Hmm.. My '93 Prelude does this also - if you turn the key to the "neutral" position where you can remove it, remove it and open your door, the car will beep the "you've left your keys in" reminder...
If you force it slightly backwards "past" the neutral position and slide it out (or give the ignition switch a sharp tap with your finger), it will click and stop beeping.
Kinda ugly - If you still have a warranty on your car, I'd bring it in.

yea, thats' what i meant. sorry xviper for not explaining it not good enough. the engine is off and everything, it jus thinks that the keys are still in it, so it beeps at you when you open the door. yea, i think im gonna have them look at it, thanks everyone!
