taking out seats help plz.

Default taking out seats help plz.

i want to clean and protect my leather seats good, so i wanted to take out the leather seats to do so. can anyone lend a me some advice on how to take out the seats plz .. thanks

You'll need a ratchet and two sockets :12mm and 14mm

Slide the seat all the way back and use the 12mm socket on the nuts holding front of the seat rails to the floor. Then slide the seat all the way forward and use the 14mm socket on those nuts. After all four nuts are off you can just pull the passenger's seat right out.

The driver's seat has a plug under it for the seat-belt warning light. Unplug that and you're good to go.

Don't forget to plug it back in when you put the seat back in.

Cool, thanks for the info - my dog barfed down the seat the other day and I have been putting it off to remove the seat and recover his biscuits

Doesn't matter. It's easier to get the seats out if the top is down. Watch the frame rails for the seat--they're greasy and sharp enough to put a nice scratch in your door panels.
