Default taming the beast

Hey all,

So I'm now facing 2 hrs daily in moderate to heavy traffic in a few weeks, as opposed to my current quick 15 min commute at 70 mph. I'm thinking of getting a GT car so I don't kill myself in the S (yes, I'm old and fat). I found a BIG difference in doing 2 hrs in my S vs. 2 hrs in my wife's BMW E46. I'm also thinking of making the S more comfortable. So far:

1. Dynamat
2. Hardtop (if so, what type would be best to minimize road noise?)
3. S-pods for better stereo.

Any other ideas?

Thanks....

an AP2... oh snap! you already have one... you could always do the s2k-Accord conversion. Ever heard of that?

I sometimes wish I had seat heaters when I drive at night with the top down. Especially when I run the canyons at night.
If you want a real comfy car, the S is definetely not for you.

It depends on what's bugging you. You could change out the seats, but I find them pretty comfy already. Hard top will stop wind noise.

It may be better to go buy a used Civic in good shape and commute in that. The LX versions have some nice appointments inside.
