Default Tan Top

My car was broken into via slashed top so the insurance company will be covering the new top. I have a 03 Grand Prix White with tan interior, what are you're opinions on the tan top...yay or nay? I've seen aftermarket ones for sale but have never seen an actual one installed.

Yay (not about your slashed top but about replacing with tan top). I think it would look great.

I've seen a guy do it on a Red S2K. Looks pretty damn nice, he had it custom made.

You may want to look at Robbins' website. I'd post a link but the InterNazis have it blocked here at work.

The only color I would put a tan top on would be a GPW, I dont think it would look good on any others. Regardless of this fact, I would go with black canvas myself if I was in your shoes.

I think that it will look fine but not better than black. It's probably very difficult to keep clean as well

How does it look folded down? Black is relatively unnoticed, tan may look a little different.

Go with the red top or blue...I'd say stick with black but, if you want to change it up those are my opinions.

I say nay.

Just thinking ahead...tan will expose all the dirty elements that black would normally hide. Maintenance will be a pain. Also, when it comes time to sell, it may thwart off potential buyers (unless you plan on keeping it forever).

I know its a miata but it'll kinda give you an idea how it would look.

I have a tan interior and personally, I would keep the top black. Now if the interior was all black I would say get red or blue.
