Default Tan Top for white S2000

I live in central Texas where it gets HOTTT in the summer! I've got what I think is the coolest (as in doesn't get as hot) color combination, white with tan interior.

My top is getting worn and I'm thinking of replacing it. I'm looking at EZON with Haartz cloth fabric. Has anyone seen a white car with a tan top? How does it look? It would have to be a replacement or a non US car since I don't think Honda has imported any white with tan tops into usa.

I know with Alfas the cloth top was always considered "classier" than the vinyl. However, I really like the Honda vinyl. Alas, the vinyl is not available in tan.

Do you think it would hurt resale?

Thoughts, ideas?

Jack

I have never personally seen a white S2000 with a tan top but I think that combo looks great on other cars. I like tan tops on red cars, too.

Tan tops I may be gowing for a blue on white myself.

I can't see how it would hurt resale value, especially as the cloth tops are regarded as being "better".

One more vote for tan on white. I've seen Porsches with that combo and it's a winner.

I can get you samples from EZ on. Great tops. The ONLY thing to be wary of is it being clean. Using RaggTop cleaner and protectant twice as much then you should have been using on the black top. I encourage you to go for it!
I would almost bet you would be the only one with it!

I had a tan top on my audi and, you definitely have clean and protect it more to keep it looking nice. another thing is you notice the creases a lot more after its been folded down. other then that Tan tops are pretty classy looking.

It would look fantastic, and there is no way it would hurt the resale. It may even be a selling point. Cloth is definitely harder to clean than vinyl. Tan would definitely complicate that. Being in TX will help keep the mildew problem under control though.

I think it looks really nice on the cars I've seen it on. I was curious about this before too and did some searching but couldn't ever find any pics of a tan top on an S2k. If you do go through with it, please post pics for us after you get it.

i imagine it'll look like the a4 cabrio white on tan..if you have a 03-06 gpw it would look great. not if you have 00-02 or 07-09.
