Default Tear in top....

Found a small tear in my top.... about 2/10 of an inch.... is there anything to do to keep it from expanding instead of just going out and replacing it?

i plan on going hardtop in the future.... but also whats the price on replacing the top?

theres something called plasti-dip thats used to coat tools with a protective layer of plastic...you can apply a few layers to your hole and it should hold it

I used polyester string and stitched it together so it wasnt open, once its stitched I applied some vinyl sealer (its clear and comes in a blue tube from autozone/advanced auto/etc) to both side. The sealer dries hard and protects both sides; my tear was caused by one of the bars during motion of the soft top (known issue) and the hardened sealer seems to not only seal the tear but has stopped the continuation. I'd recommend anyone to use it even before a tear.
