Probably isn't smart to post on a public forum if you plan on doing insurance fraud.

but my friend told me that people do.

just thinking how crzy that was, taking a knife to your own car.

ok..its people like your friends that FAWK up warranty claims for people like me that legitimately get their soft top torn when we are still under warranty

oh and btw..why post this in a public forum? insurance companies and police frequent these types of sites

hahaha, I'm sorry but I have to bust you out.

Pretty quick on the edit... but didn't your original post go something like:

"My friend told me about tearing your own soft top. My insurance deductible is $500 so that would be cheaper than paying for the top plus labor... blahblahbla"
