Default Are tears OK when you say goodbye?

I sold my '00 S2000 on Saturday, ending a 2-year and 7-months relationship with (IMHO) the best car I've ever driven. Now before other car owners jump in and say "nay" to my statement, please remember that my point of view, though highly skewed, was not written out of ignorance as I've driven plenty of exotic and different types of sports cars in my life.

At any rate, the new owner didn't see it (thank goodness), my wife didn't see it, but after *she* left my garage for the last time I went and sat in my little CRX and shed a lot more tears than I could have imagined. This car had a lot of emotional baggage attached to it, and it was with extreme reluctance I put the ad out to sell the car - and as the new owner can attest to it, I was probably the least keen car salesperson he will ever meet in his life.

Farewell, my "Little Silver"

Come up to Toronto, and I'll let you drive mine! No charge, but the odd IDi trinket would be appreciated! (Like your single outlet street exhaust, PLEASE!!!)

I imagine I would have a similar response if I had to sell mine.
