I'm sure this has been discussed before, but a quick search didn't answer my question. Does the s2000 have a second cam profile on both the intake and exhaust. I seemed to remember that it was only on the intake side, but the recent posting of disasembled engine pictures seem to show the additional lobes on both cams.

Older Honda VTEC engines had simply on the intake side, While all Acura VTECs existed on both sides. The S2000 has this on Both intake and Exhaust.

 

Twin Cam VTEC models: S2000, NSX, Integra GS-R (and Type-R), Prelude, (old) Civic Si, and the old Del Sol.

Single cam (intake only): Accords, Civics, TL, CL, Odyssey, MDX.

VTEC-E: Single cam,high efficiency. Civic HX and Insight.
