Default Tein Flex

I have the Tein Flex's riding on 18" wheels. Every now and then the tires in the rear seem to hit the fender when going over bumps in the road. I wanted to know if raising the rear would be a good idea, or even if it would solve my problem?

Think I should have gone with 17's instead

Thanks

How low are you dropped? What are you offsets? With the correct offset and proper tires you shouldn't be hitting the fender at all...

It will hitting your fender, just depend how low you drop, how wide of your tire, etc..., even you have enought offset to install but it will scrape your fender everytime you turn your front wheel, because bad road condition and you don't have enough travel distance for your suspension. Extreme lowering is nice, but you've to slow down you car block by block, it is painful (j/k)

I have the flex's setup to the their spec's for the s2000. I think the drop is about 1 1/2" drop.

I am riding on 245/40 in the rear with offset of 50

Just wanted to know if raising the rear a bit would throw off the balance of the car in any way making it unsafe. Or would rolling the fender be a better option?

Thanks,
Gurdeep

The S2K comes stock with the rear a little higher then the front. People usually get coils to even the distance between the two. I don't see why if you raise the back a lil would be any different then the stock set up. I know with 18's most run 63 offset in the rear with no problems.
