If you read the "coil over" thread you`ll notice I purchased a Bilstein PSS9 Kit to shock dyno, install and review.

Just out of curiosity, how were the PSS9s? I'm interested... what is the purpose of the helper springs included? BTW, doesn't Eibach make the springs for the PSS9s?

I don`t know, as I have not received them yet. I think it will be a pretty solid product though. We do not make their springs. Helper springs, like the PSS9`s have, give the spring a dual rate rather than just a liner rate (one spring rate). Helps w/ ride quality.

Im not sure if this counts for s2k owners, but I had H.Tech on my prelude and S.Tech on my S15. I loved the H.tech, ride quality was awesome, altho drop could have been better by a fraction...S.tech I hated, spring rate wasnt suitable, they were way too firm, and back was lower then front so car butt looked bit sagged.

Another thing to note is H.Tech were less then half the weight (if not less then a third even) then stock springs. And the quality appeared much higher then s.tech (which are already better then most). So you are looking at around 20lb if not more weight saving too!

I would seriously look into these! I am planing on getting an S2k and would be fitting these, your other option is the RS*R Ti2000 titanium springs, these are around same spring rate but more drop (altho uneven which I dont like)
Htech with current spring rate but -25mm instead of -16mm (F&R) would be perfect

I didn't KNOW that, I would have guessed it though.

Thanks.

My TEINS have been shipped. $133.99 shipped. I will be installing these springs on a set of '01 OEMs w/ 5K miles on them (got 'em for free) to replace my '00 40K mile OEMs. It will be an inexpensive cosmetic mod more than anything.

I see ALOT of people w/ the TEIN coilover setups on their S. I can't spend $1200 on a suspension for my S (I have a motorcycle addiction too) and figured if TEIN knows coilovers, they must know springs too. What can it hurt? $134 and an alignment. Yea, I'll be installing them myself.
You're getting the H-tech?

If so let me know where you got them because I need to get some for my car.

I'm aways getting challanged by trucks to run in the baja 500! I only need it to drop like 3/4" to 1" at most.

thanks
