Default Tein S-Tech vs. Eibach Pro Kit...

I've narrowed it down to these two. Seems like they drop is about the same. After searching, it's sort of inconclusive, some say tein drops lower, some say eibach. Regardless, is there any reason to go with one over the other assuming price isn't an issue? Is one a better quality then the other? Seems stupid but i'm leaning towards tein because they are a japan product for a japan car....

Well Eibach has the million mile warranty. While Tein has a one year warranty on their products. I went with Eibach because they have been around a lot longer. And their suspensions are used much more in racing.

Eibach Pro lower's 1 inch Front and Rear (.PDF doesn't list Spring Rate)

Tein S-Tech: Lowers 26mm front, 25 mm rear (almost 1 inch) and has a spring rate of Front 5.3/296 - Rear 6.5/363

Pretty sure both are Linear springs.

I'm in the same boat as you, I hear progressive springs are your best bet (KGMM I believe are), but i'm leaning towards Tein since I like the spring rate (good for Ap1)

Eibach Pro-Kit springs are progressive while the Tein S-Tech are linear. I'd personally go with the Eibach springs, they are definitely going to be better in quality than the Tein springs, better comfort, and more than likely better handling. I hope you are ordering a set of aftermarket shocks to go along with these lowering springs.
