Default Tell me the number one reason why...

....you bought your S2k.

For me, it was the design and the rarity of the car.

Hey, all these new cars might be faster than the S2k...but we get waayy many more looks and compliments.

So you bought the car for what other people think?

I bought it because it was a common car and wouldn't draw as much attention.

There are three in our parking lot at work.

Being a "Honda" and the frenetic powerband / crisp transmission were what sealed the deal.
Yup And I must say, most of my friends love the S2K.

i test drove one, and being able to rip up the motor at 9,000RPM.
How crisp the transmission was, it was amazing.
And the minimum body roll and each corner I took it into.

I bought mine in 1999 for autocross and track use. I believed it would be the best car in it's SCCA class. It was.

I've wanted one since 1999, but could never afford it then.

I love that it's honda's testament to their racing heritage.

its everything I need, and everything I don't need.

the one I bought chose me.

Damn, 9 stars. I don't think I have seen that before #255 . You have been here a while. Sadly retired indeed. I have MY00 #779(I know not the S2KI # but model #) and love it.

The first drive is why I bought it.

And every drive after that.
