I just ordered the V1 detector. I got a ticket last week in Irving and don't want it to happen again. The extra sensitivity could have picked him up far down the road when he used his instant on radar against another car. My BEL works good around here where the cops are dumb and it has saved me at least 15 times but I don't want another ticket. Tell me something good so I can feel great about the $448 I just spent on the V1!

Bad news: Expensive, no deals/group buys
Good news: They work, probebly would have given you enough warning

Chicks dig the V1. They love the size of it.

How bout that?

I agree with DeeGYM...size does matter, therefore chicks dig the V1...

The V1 is hands down the best I have ever used or owned. It gives you so much information that other detectors just don't provide...you will be very happy with it. In fact, I'm sure it will pay for itself in no time... <wink wink nudge nudge>

Excellent choice...

Seriously though, I love the fact that it shows which direction the bogey is coming from. Does any other radar dectector do this?

For instance, a cop pulls onto the highway behind you (you don't see him cause it's night time) and is gunning you from behind. With a one way detecting radar dectector, I don't think it's going to pick him up.

This happenned to HondaGuy. We are cruising along and this Mustang matches our speed. It's getting dark and the V1 starts to detect something from behind. He asked me if those were cop headlights, but I couldn't tell. The mustang takes off and the next thing you know, the we see flashing lights. The cop chases after the stang.

DeeGYM, excellent example. skitz, you won't be dissapointed. You'll think to yourself - "it hasn't paid for itself" until you realize that your months-driving/ticket ratio goes down.

I have no basis of comparison since I have never used any other radar detector. However, the V1 has already paid for itself. I've been pulled over twice with the knowledge that the cop didn't get me on radar. they knew it, and I knew it. Super effective detector. I am starting a collection of warnings though
