Default Tell me your opinion about GTP (importfan.com)

Hi everybody,

I've ordered some parts from GTP international (www.importfan.com), and these days I will send off the money. I'm little scared tho, because I don't want to lose my $$$. Should I trust them? Does anyone out there, having problems with GTP, such as, damaged parts, wrong delivery, never delivered items etc? Should I send the money??? Please help!! Also, if someone had ordered in the past any item from them, I would like to hear his opinion.

Thnx!

The only GTP I know of is the heap that Pontiac sells. Could you explain a bit better? Thanks.

He's referring to this website:

Socrates, I haven't ordered from them, but I have dropped them a couple of emails about a part on their site and never heard back from them. Not necessarily an indication of how they proceed with a paying customer, but it does make me wonder.

Can you use a credit card? That way you have some protection if for some reason you need to try to get your money back.

No matter how tempting the products are on their website, do not order anything from GTP ImportFan. I've heard tons of horror stories about them! They have a tendency to take people's money and never send the item. And if they do send you something its either the wrong item or 6 months late. I do not recommend ordering from them.

Anyone having ordered from GTP with a nice, peaceful, non-horror delivery?

I have a positive comment about GTP. I work for the SEMA show and when I spoke to the workers at the GTP booth, they all seemed legit. One of the few workers actually has an S and is on the board sometimes. Let me know if you dont get your items and I will give him a call to get them for ya!

I have only heard positive things about GTP/ importfan.com. I never ordered from them, but a few of my friends did, and they had no problems!!

The only thing is they never have anything in stock!!! Other than that, I would order from them! Their carbon work is not bad!
