the civic one is def true. i live near a city that is full of POS civics that think its fast but the body is barely hanging on. oh yeah and the attitude you get from these kids, they act like they drive lambos. most of them don't even speak english.
You have to understand that guys who grew up south of the Texas border probably never owned a car before (and probably never even drove a car before) they moved to the US. Of course they are going to think their civic is the greatest thing ever. I loved my first car. Speaking English and having car insurance is not a requirement to be issued a driver's license in the US for some reason.

Society cares way too much about the lives of other people. Humorous read if nothing else.

As with all satire, it starts each profile with a grain of truth. There were a few that I found particularly funny (Civic, Range Rover), but the characterization of the S2000 was not that bad. In my youth I might have been a "boy racer" if the S2000 had been available - we did what we could with the Detroit muscle cars that we had at the time. But I laughed at the characterization nonetheless.

I'd say that the description of S2000 racers more applies to Evo owners. However, I know quite a few S2000 owners that meet the description as well.

2.) BMW 550i

Who This Car Resembles: Asshats. The entitlement of a BMW owner goes beyond cutting you off in traffic, they also feel like the need to park wherever they want, however they want. BMW drivers put on an air of importance and consider themselves above the rest of us "commoners," much like the Ultimate Driving Machine.

lmfao

my gf drives a jetta

Hmm that's weird..I bought the s2000 cuz I wanted to get away from the boy racer image as much as possible. I thought the s2k had more of a grown up image associated with older gentlemen owning 2 seater convs as their weekend toys.

I think instead of the s2000 they should have put the rsx or civic si. They're generally owned by 18 to 24 year olds who fit the description of "boy racer" which is exactly why I stayed far away from it.
