Default Test Pipe

I'm looking at Test pipes, and I just want some advice on them. Is it really worth it to put one on. What does it sound like. I have a HKS exhaust system right now. Any info would be great.

Simply put.

Power wise, yes they are worth it

Pollution wise, no they are not

You be the one who decides which is more important

It will make your HKS sound sweet

so I'm assuming it won't pass smog. I would have to change it with the stock 1 everytime I do a smog test?

One more question. Will my CEL light come on. If so, what do I do in that case.

Putting a test pipe on your car is a federal offense since you are removing the cat. That being said, the only reason I won't do it is because I suck in enough noxious fumes while driving my RX7. I would hate to be idling in traffic with the top down and no cat.

Which Test Pipe should I get. The ones I've seen (EBAY) have the o2 sensor plug but it just has a bolt in it. No Sensor is included.
