Default Test pipe with OEM exhaust

Just how much louder is the car in cabin with the test pipe and oem 2004+ exhuast. My search brought up a ton of results bought no one really addressed drone. Mine is a DD. I dont think ill mind a loud growl and my daily commut. But, I want to be able to take a long cruise everynow and again without drone killing my ears.
I guess a good evaluation would be: Can you still here the crappy stock stereo when are cruising say 3500-4000 rpms?
Any comments welcome. Preferably from peeps with OEM exhuast.
thanks

Zero drone for me on OEM exhaust. TP removes drone from most aftermarket exhausts.

The loud growl is awesome at WOT and VTEC. I daily drive mine because at regular driving, it's almost exactly like stock.

I live in tampa and have a tp with stock exhaust. Sounds kinda like the g35 350 stock exhaust. not quite as deep. Be glad to show you sometime. PM me with any questions.

+1 for what kalibo said.....it's enough to sound better but nowhere near intolerable, or even noticeable for that matter, during daily driving...but you know it's there when you get on it, that's fur sure

Yep, I ran a TP w/ a AP1 exhaust and it did sound very close to above. It's not bad at all, plus with the ease of taking it on/off, might as well just try it.

I have a Berk TP with the OEM exhaust and love it. Gives a nice little growl at 3-4k while accelerating, nice VTEC noise, and my butt dyno says alittle more midrange power. Make sure you get a TP with an O2 sensor fouler so you won't get a Check Engine light. Relatively easy install, just make sure you let the catalytic converter cool down some before you put your hands on it.

The berk Is my fav. It's not too $$$ and it has the 02 sensor bung extended out to fix the CEL issue.
