I am interested in getting a test pipe for my 03... just curious how do you prevent the cel from coming on.. and secondly, what is a good brand to get?

 

Get whatever brand you can find for the cheapest, when it comes down to a testpipe....a pipe is a pipe. I believe the cheapest right now are Megan (what I have) and Berk. You will need a "mechanical o2 simulator", they are very easy to make or can be had on eBay for pretty cheap. I belive the Berk might even include one for free.

I have a spoon test pipe to sell, and a stock ap1 exhaust to sell!!!

 

Get the T1R it comes with the CEL fix and also you get to use your shield with it so it looks stock.

 

Have to go with Berk... built-in CEL fix, slightly larger than most the other TPs, and higher quality. The T1R is nice, but the fins that hold the heat shield tend to break off anyway...

 

that or berk. on the T1R the little flanges on there to connect the stock heatshield tend to break and may rattle, so just keep that in mind.

 

I got the berk cuz it is $50 cheaper than T1R and I heard those little tabs on the T1R break off. berk has built in CEL fix too.
