What exhaust do you have ?
It's listed in my sig, but in case you have siggies off, it's an Amuse R1000. It's pretty loud. I was a bit worried when I had to drive under a bridge the other day when there was a cop sitting there watching for red-light-runners. Needless to say, I was very easy on the throttle, but the whole underpass still resonated.

Fortunately, the cop didn't seem interested in my riceboy fart-pipe.

I have the Invidia w/test pipe.

The Invidia alone is loud (93 db), adding a test pipe will make it alittle bit louder before Vtec. Once you hit Vtec, it's extremly loud, your looking at about 100 db+.

Watch out for backfire when you let off the gas at redline, if you have a supercharger, watch out for backfire with FLAMES.

Are you FI?

I get little coughs which I assume are mini-backfires occasionally when I lift throttle at mid- to high-RPMs, but I've never seen any sign of flames. I dunno if there is anything visible to the people behind me, though.

Nope, I'm NA. I'm not expecting them, I just think it'd be cool w/o NOS.

Are most people bolting them on rather than welding? So when emissions are tested again the cat can be put back on? Is it a DIY?

Is there a test pipe that will bolt up to the stock header and stock (ex)cat-back? I want to just do a test pipe and dynomax ultra-flo mufflers w/stock tips for my exhaust. Thanks.

Well, I don't want my exhaust to be so loud, I already get hassled enough by the cops the way it is. One thing though, on those dyno's on that link one of you provided, how come that AEM EMS added over 20hp? WOW! I was impressed when I saw that.
