Default Test Pipes

I have a Comptech Header and Exhaust. I have looked at the GB section and found the Megan Test Pipe and the Berk, I think there are a few more brands but don't really know much about them.

So which is better and why........or should I keep the Stock Cat?

(No emission tests here BTW)

i would go with the berk for your setup, not too pricey, its 2.5 inches and will work perfect with your header and exhaust package

If you already have the Comptech parts, why not stick with Comptech and get their pipe and CEL eliminator? The pipe's on their site, but not the CEL eliminator. Got mine and the combo of all three is great.

I'll check it out, didn't know that they made a test pipe. I always buy from HTG.

Their site doesn't always show all the parts available - nuts, but seems to be their standard operating procedure.

I think the pipe was $250 and the eliminator was about $125 from Comptech directly.

The sound is just amazing, although I haven't heard a car with just the header and exhaust, so the two setups could be identical for all I know. I'd love to hear one with all three parts and the cold air intake, but I don't have my mind made up on that part yet.

IMO...they're all the same.
average price for most test pipes is about $100.

even if it doesn't come with the cel eliminator just do the spark plug fouler mod, it works great.

Yeah, but if you already have several thousand dollars invested in Comptech parts, why not pay an extra couple hundred to get their pipe? That was my logic anyway.
