Doesn't really sound worth it to me then... Doesn't anyone out there make an aftermarket cat for our cars or is it a moot point??
That is true most high flow CATs out there are actually more restrictive. We carry one that actually flows more than the factory unit:

Race gas wont clean the engine out. It will only make the smell even worse since higher octane gas burns slower. It also has nothing to do with carbon build up within the engine. It's just from not having a catalytic converter.
The person I quoted did. He said he's going to clean his engine out by putting in race gas. Gas only enters the combustion chamber. There aren't very many things that would be considered causing a dirty combustion chamber other than carbon.
oh weird. i didn't notice. haha. i wonder how someone would get the idea that race gas would clean their engine. oh well.... the internet. it's great when used properly. otherwise it's full of a whole lot of bullshit.

Well, I bought an Invidia Testpipe + CEL fix and intalled them 2 -3 weeks ago in my 2000 S2000 with the exhaust of 2005 S2000. Everything is great, the car sounds good after the testpipe in but there's some funny smell like gas smell. and it's freaking stinky when I leave the car at Idle or stop at redlight. Anyone have the same problem?? anyway to correct it?
note: the smell come from the exhaust, nothing is leaking anywhere.

It's called smog and it's why the
catalytic converter is there in the first place! Did you think it was just a horsepower tax?
