I would not put a red console cover in a red interior unless you swap out the red carpet sections for black. The red carpet is not a good match to the read leater and a red console cover, IMHO, is just way too much red.

Hey Rick,
Would you recommend all black, perferated sides / top and with red stitching or black stitching?

Mookie. I have a red interior with a set of black floor mats. I really like the way the black console cover looks. Like Mselland said, the black console cover splits up the cockpit nicely. It ties in nice with the red/black scheme throughout the interior. I got perf on top and solid on the sides. Throwing the red boot in was a little risky, but I like the results. Perhaps I'll post a pic.

That (*&@#@ carpet on the console was the first thing I noticed when I sat in my first S2000. Before Rick came up with his cover, I took my new car over to a leather shop to see how hard it would be fit something in there. It looked like too much work and a healthy bit of cash, so I didn't pursue it. I had hoped that someone would come up with something...then POOF...here comes Rick's cover.

IMO, this is essential gear for the interior. I love mine...

Thanks, Rick!

You're welcome, Greg! This all started for me just as it started for you. Before I even had the car I read all the complaints about the carpet on the transmission tunnel, so I was determined to make a fix for my own car before it was delivered. One thing led to another and suddenly I found myself having these things made by the hundreds, along with all those other goodies .
