Greetings! In my short (2 day) quest for a 2002 Suzuka Blue at MSRP, I have found and put a deposit on one. I called most of the east coast dealers listed on the MSRP Dealers page and got a great response from most of the dealers.

The dealer is unsure of when the car will come in, but gave me the VIN of JHMAP11482T000416, and expects it within 2 weeks.
I'm so excited! I have been driving a 4cyl mustang for the past 6 years and I'm finally getting a kick-ass car!

The dealer is LaPointe Honda in Charlotte, NC. The guy I asked for was listed on www.s2ki.com site. He was very nice, seemed to be honest, faxed me a buyer's order with price. Anyone had any dealings with this guy/dealer? Any info would be appreciated.

I've gotten so much useful information from this site over the last few weeks, and think I've spent at least 4 hours a day on here reading!

Welcome to the club . . . you should have one of the first blue ones around! We will all expect a complete report with pics Oh btw . . . the next two weeks will be the longest of your life! Many of us have lived through this . . . it's well worth it

 

i talked with lapointe honda by email they seemed nice and they were selling at msrp but i lived less than 2mins away from a dealer that just happen to have a red one for sale
