Default thanks to someone

All i can say is ....watch yourself.

I went to the mall w/my girlfriend , as we were enjoying a lazy afternnon i heard something from the loud speaker "i never listen to that ,but for some reason i did this time " Shockingly i was hearing my plate # and they went on to say the person w/the silver "honda sports car" plz get to your car ASAP
Ran to my car like it was on fire and to my suprise when i got to it , it was just sitting no promble getting closer i saw a cop and a mall worker in front of my car . They told me my car had rolled out of the spot and was just about to hit other parked cars ....a person unknown saved my ASS big time . They saw my car rolling jumped out of their car and stoped the STOOK
pushed it back into the spot and put a rock under the wheel

I will never leave my car out of gear w/stoped , i almost never do but this time i did and
Guess i just got very lucky ,next time i dont think i;ll just pull the brake , i;ll be SURE to have it in gear
and remember ...watch yourself

Nice! You got quite lucky!

Actually the exact same thing happened to me a few years ago only I was the one who stopped the rolling car, and the car was a 3000GT VR4. My friend and I were sitting there holding the car for a good 15 minutes and we couldn't find the owner. Eventually we called the tow company who had to come jimmy the lock and put the Ebrake up. We just left it in its space parked.

I bet the owner has no idea his car nearly rolled into a black BMW behind it. Good karma for me I guess.

You're welcome!

I'm sure everyone on this board would do the same thing. I mean, if a baby carriage was rolling down a steep sidewalk, eh.. let it go.. but a beautiful fast car?! that's a different story! Plus the 3000GT was black so I knew it was fast

PS: I'm kidding about the baby..Or am I..

LOL my 3000GT the Ebrake suck on it but I don't know how you guys push it. That thing is like a beast weighing in around 4400lbs maybe that why I got an s2k. It easier to push.... stupid mitsu

Random acts of kindness are the best. It's great being saved from, or at least alerted to, a cop up ahead by someone flipping their lights.

It's also cool to save someone else running with you on the highway and have them realize it and get a thumbs up or something...

Things like this give people hope in humanity!

Edit: The 3000GT actually weighs in a bit under 4000lbs in the configurations I'm familiar with. I know earlier VR4s were around 3700-3800lbs. By no means a lightweight, but still lighter than I expected.

it may not have been your fault, i don't know if you leave your top down or not, but my top is always down and i had the experience of having some kids relieve my parking break and shift it into nuetral thinking it would be funny. luckily it ended up stopping in an intersection without hitting anything. so its possible someone might have doen this to you

Oh man. now I will think twice about leaving my top down...
I once helped a friend push his miata out of a ditch after he forgot to leave his parking break on. It took 8 of us weaklings to get it out of a ditch.
