I am getting a bra! I know it is a sports car and it looks like shit, but I can't stand the rock hits any longer. California roads suck, to much dirt and shitty drivers. After every drive I find new hits on my front end!
Until my tax dollars buy me better road conditions, it is bra all the way. I am tired to drive it conservative, and try to avoid those wanna be racers. I will post how it looks, when I get it. I ordered it in carbon fiber style, so hopefully it will look ok

 

I feel you pain. Yesterday I was driving and the guy in front of me wandered off the road a little and kicked up a whole boat load of gravel. It sounded like I was going through a tin knocker convention. When I stopped and looked at my baby, she was all nicked up all over!!! I'm really pissed, but I don't think having a bra would have helped. Sooo, think carefully before putting money into it. You still might have to get things fixed/painted, etc.

That double sucks! Thats how I got at least one of my hits!
You maybe right that it will not help for all the situations, I just need a little peace of mind. At least I got touch up paint from the dealer for free.
The bra with mirrors is under 200, so no big deal. I think it is worth the try.

A much better alternative to a ugly, black, nose bra is 3M plastic film distributed by STONEGARD. Check out http://www.stongard.com for a local retailer, FAQ, and answers to any questions you might have regarding the film. Now all future cars that I purchase will have this film.

I know some ALMS teams and all the Porsche club guys that use this as well, among others.

Go with the 3M product, XPEL whomever but stay away from the bra. Unless you are amazingly anal retentive the bra will turn into sandpaper the first time it gets wet, I wish they would ban those things.

Don't get a bra!!!! I put one on a dark blue accord and discovered after two months it cooked/cracked/scratched the paint under it. When I waxed it, it really looked bad. White wax got into all the cracks. Sand will get under the bra and scratch what doesn't get cooked by the sun. That's my $.02 on the bra. I'd rather have the stone chips.

 

no! no bra! definitely get the 3M instead. it's easier to take care of too.

whats the point of having a bra if your never going to show the front of your car????? Whats the point of having it on? To keep the front clean, and at the same time never show the front and too make the car look like crap???
