If there is anything better in this world than cruising in the S2000 with the top down, on an absolutely gorgeous night in the mid 70's, listening to Michael Bubl

Yup. Its a true driver's car. Once Honda ends the S2000 I would hate to think how much you have to spend to get a similar feel. I'm guessing the minimum would be 50g starting with the Lotus Elise and going from there.

7 years in and I still get a grin....................

...........and have bought two more Honda products since, having never ever considered the brand before.

Half the fun is from knowing you own a world class sports car that cost half as much as Bimmer and Porsche can throw at you. You just have to learn to give "knowing looks" to other people that look all disapointed when you say "it's a Honda" after they ask, what's that? - it looks really cool!"

I'm keeping mine until it falls apart - which will probably be after I do.

^ I can agree with Scotland. Beautiful driving roads there. Just scary to drive on the other side of the road!

IMO, there isn't anything better than driving on some nice roads out in the country or the mountains. Fortunately, we have both not too far from DC. I still get a thrill pushing that Start button, and I've had an S (on my second one) for over six years.

I used to love quiet drives along PCH with the stock stereo. Not great quality, but just enough for background effect.

That peaceful drive down the coast is the only think I miss after getting an exhaust. It sorta takes away from it...

^ I like to crank up the music, but sometimes just cruising and listening to the engine is great.
