Default Is there a cockpit cover out there.....

Hey guys,

I just bought a MY04 silver stone/black. I love the black seats, hate how hot they are. I used to have a Z3, and they made a nifty cover for just the cockpit for when I am at work and the boot is on.

Is this available out there for the MY04?

thanks in advance...

I hope your parking at work is in a very secure location. Someone might steal your seats, shift knob, stereo, and steering wheel if you leave the car parked with the top down. The seats in particular are a favorite of amateur thieves because they can easily be ebayed for more than a thousand dollars.

I would recommend you leave the boot at home and start using your top.

I am interested in the same thing!

Use to have one for the old bathtub Porsches. You could actually unzip the driver side only and leave it on to keep the passenger side protected and help control the wind swirl in the cabin!

Covercraft makes one. I have it on mine and it works reasonably well.

I have used mine for 4 years and it works great. Our company parking lot is only used by employees and I can see my car from my office window. I leave the top down all the time (except to the rare rain storm during the summer). The car actually stays cooler with the cover on and top down than with the top up, windows slightly lowered, and sun blocker in the windshield.
