Is there a disadvantage to having one of the low vin numbers

I use the duster between washings and have had good results, as long as you have a good coat of wax the car there shouldn't be a problem removing the dust.

My car was one of the very first production S2Ks built (build date June 1999). 26K miles later, I haven't had a single problem, other than the occasional 1-2 grind.

I've got 04 #291. I'm really not too worried about the car. Many of the changes made to the car were to correct known weakness's of the previous models. And most of the rest of the car is just a carry over.

And California Dusters work great so long as it's just dust. If the car has been left out over night and gotten damp, or been rained on, then the dust becomes more like mud and then the Cali Duster won't help you and could potentially harm the finish.

I hope there are no problems...mine is #145. Had her almost 5 weeks and 3000 miles. No problems yet.

MY04 sebring/blk, #47 here... 950 miles of trouble free driving. zymol'd and california dusted as needed.
