afik, there held on with double sided tape, but they could have holes in them that go into the fender so, the end decsion to remove them is up to you. but the easiest way i have found that leaves no scratches it to take a length of fishing line and wrap around both fists, and have like 6 " between ur fists like o_o, circles being ur fists. then take the line place between emblem and fender and hold close to fender as possible, and pull. any residue can be rubbed off or rubbing alchol. if u come to a point where the line wount move any further back even with repeated sawing, its where the emblem goes throught the fender. good luck

^I'm not sure about the possible holes in the fender as I took of my side emblems and there was only fresh paint underneath. Anyway, you can go to your local autoparts store (pepboys, autozone, etc.) and pick up some 3m adhesive and wax remover that comes in a small metal can. It is a liquid that you can either spray or pour on with a cotton ball around the emblem and let it sit for a few minutes. Repeat this a few times and then take some dental floss and start almost sawing back and forth beneath the emblem. After a few minutes of working the floss back and forth the emblems should come loose as you cut through the double sided tape underneath. Then just wax the area and your done! Have fun

There are no holes behind the "S2000" badges. Some guys will use dental floss to cut the badge away from the sticky tape. I would suggest that you use a hair dryer to warm up the badge and the sticky tape and then apply firm but constant pressure as you pull the badge away. Once the tape is warm, it will give. If you pull slowly, you might be able to get the thing off entirely without leaving much sticky stuff behind.

use the heat method. no chemicals, no scratches, no mess. same goes for the little bit of double-stick if there is any left on the car.

However, there ARE holes behind the Honda logo badges front and rear, if you have those in mind. HPH

Just be very careful with a heat gun. They're used to strip paint.

Thanks xviper. I removed one side yesterday and your method worked great. It took awhile to get the stick tape off but it was not that bad.

Thanks
