Default Is there a mouse in my clutch?

When I am accelerating fast and shifting from 1-2 and 3-4 I hear a quiet little squeak when I shift. It dosent sound like a grind caus I know what that sounds like and it dosent seem to affect anything, just an annoying little squeak that I would like to stop happening. I dont think it happens every time but I was wondering if anyone else had or has this noise or if anyone knows what it is.

Thanks a lot for the help!

no, you think that may be a cause? I admit I havent been driving a stick for that long so that could be a factor, one of these days I will experiment a little better.

Can you pinpoint it to the clutch or the stick?
If it's the clutch, it could be as simple as just putting a little lube on all the pivot points where the pedal is attached or it could be as bad as needing a new master clutch cylinder.
If it's the stick, it has been reported that where the stick goes down into the mechanism that move around underneath your boot, that part can squeak. Again, a bit of lube there might be the ticket.

yea, I dont think it is the stick caus sometimes when I am stopped I like to shift, I dont know why, but it dosent make that noise. I am actually goin to get my oil changed today at the Honda dealership and I will ask them about it, again I will try and do more experiments later to try and localize it. Thanks!

i dont think so... tsb 54:
https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/92/1/1/

mine really does sound and feel like you stepped on a quiet mouse! (or like there is no lube in the clutch pedal)
a small resistence and a very small squeak as the clutch is pressed down, near the floor.
and mine only happens when the car was been driven for about 15 minutes or so...

I did my first track day this past Sunday in a MY02 with about 8000 mile on the clock. Noticed the same thing the first couple of times I did an aggresive shift on the street. I'll post again if I find a solution.
