It amused me quite a bit. I think everyone should have the same opportunity to get a good chuckle out of that page. It must have taken 20 to 30 hours to pull off the hoax.

 

Feels has got the parts to make my S2K an S2K-R. I'm going to buy their 2.3 liter stroker kit. 300Hp and 225 ft. pounds of torque. Just because it'll be a 2300 cc engine, I'll have to call it a S2300, like they would have to call a 6 cyl, 3000 liter an S3000. That analogy is all wet since Honda's marketing division promoted the S2000 name plate as the 2000 model year car. Sports car for the millenium not for the engine size. The S2000 mark has been too solidified to promote a name change. They'll drop the line and come out with another model before they change the S2000. Kind of like they did with the CRX, Del Sol, and such. You might see special editions like an R or i-Vtec or maybe they'll come out with a high mileage S2000 HX model. People like to dream and wish, so let the dreamers dream. Oh yeah, go ahead and send the thread to the vette site, I've got one of them too.

 

What about the S500? It was a 500cc roadster made in the late 60's, NOT 500 AD

Whats funny is that Friday I was at a local Honda dealership and the service tech's were talking about the S2000 type R... I think I burst their bubble when I told them it was not true!
