Do S drivers give any type of greeting when they spot another S on the road? With my Miata it was a wave, with the Boxster it was a flash of the lights when another P-car was spotted. It was always kinda cool to get the wave, or flash returned.

I have not seen anything mentioned on this board about an S2000 greeting, and I certainly think our car is special enough to warrant that sort of tradition.

So tell me what do you folks do when you spot another S2000?

 

A while back someone was trying to get the "V" for VTEC sign as the official greeting. I usually just wave.

 

yup, we have been doing the v since the car first hit the road- if you see another one of us, make sure you v!!

Wasn't aware of any specific greeting per se. Here in Calgary, a city of a million people, it is still a spectacle, and a rare one in that for 2 S2000s to meet on the same street at the same time.

i usually just wave or honk.

 

I jump out and chase after the other S.. then give them a high five, and then haul ass back to my car and get going again

 

I usually just give a thumbs up.

 

I hit them with a flash of the lights or a wave.
