I have the same problem. I considered removing a vertebra or two, but now think a replacement seat will be a better solution . Right now, I remove the lower seat cushion for autocross so that I can see the tach.

Kirk, we're about the same height, aren't we? Play around with the seat position - mine's currently in a very comfortable configuration that lets me see everything clearly.

If messing around with the seat doesn't work, I suggest seeing if you can find an aftermarket wheel that is a slightly larger diameter. There are some after market wheels available from some of the sponsors of this board.

Obviously there would be some drawbacks such as possible knee interference but this might work.

LOL

like Eddie Murphy told Paul Reiser (sp?) in Beverly Hills Cop II

"you gotta scooch down behind the wheel" -- or something to that effect...
