Default Are these Silverstone Metallic S2ks in these pics ?

Are these Silverstone Metallics? Never saw them like they are shown in those pics - is Silverstone really that reflective? It shows a bluish hue especially in the second one. All the ones I've seen in real life looked more like dull gray and dismissed the color as mediocre - maybe I haven't seen them in all angles? Are the ones in the pics highly polished or do they naturally appear like that?

I think the bluish hue your seeing is due to the way the picture was taken...

Early marketing pics, and yeah different lighting can make silverstone take on various tinted looks.

I just don't understand what market those cars are from.. maybe someone recognizes the plate. The cars are LHD with the Japanese forged wheels and no headlight washers.. a combination I'm not sure was ever sold. So are they early test mules?

They have UK numberplates on them - about 1997-98 vintage since they are "S" plated. However, they are LHD cars and we use RHD cars.

This is my silverstone in the shade, it does take on different color characteristics based on the light.

In bright light.

The white balence is also off in the second of your pix. When that happens, it can make big bird look blue!

Also when highly polished the car will reflect pretty well. As in poks2k's second pic above, his trunk lid is reflecting the blue sky.
