to make you feel better (maybe)... his seats, intake, shift knob and battery are all gone... yes, they took his battery...

Again, a hard top by itself is not a security feature. You'd need to at least secure the hardtop itself. We just had a hardtop and seats stolen from an S here in Houston.

To the OP, sorry you had to trade in a beautiful berlina black S for an Accord due to vandals. I hope you'll find your way back into an S some time in the near future.

If I had to live and park in congested city areas I would get a hard top for my S2000. The joys of living in the country...don't even lock my car, it's pointless.

hardtop locks.

An alarm would probably help the stealing part on you guys cars.

Sucks to hear. I had my convertible top slashed twice. Discovered that my insurance pays roughly $1,200. I buy a new top for $550 shipped. Get it installed for $350 and pocket around $300. Not the worst thing in the world, but annoying to say the least.
