really think about it for a second. if you were under your car and i came and started shaking it how would you feel? ...
With the car running at idle in first gear, I'd be more worried about tangling my hair or clothing on some spinning part (driveshaft or half-shaft) than about the car falling on me.
Your jack stands and garage floor may be different. The bottom line is we're each responsible for our own safety; if you aren't comfortable, don't do it.

Wouldn't bother me one bit; I wouldn't be under there unless I'd already tried that myself and failed to shake the car. One jack stand under each of the four jack points makes the car so stable I can't shake it. And believe me, I give it the old college try before crawling under it.

you are all getting this wrong...... i was NOT driving the car while it was on the jack stands....the car was in nuetral the whole time, i just turned it on and tried to listen to see if i could hear that clicking sound. I WAS NOT under the car, I was by the driver side wheel.

if clutch was out and the rear wheels were turning, you might have a problem. Unless its the transmission fluid transferring motion, that should NOT be happening.
The torsen differential is set up so that in the air, it pretty much acts as an open differential.
