OK, assuming I get my new S soon, what things should I look out for?...

From lurking I can think of four...

1) Removal of Shipping spacers in springs
2) Inclusion of Tonneau cover
3) Inclusion of Floormats
4) Misalignment of rear passenger side panel near tail light

Anything else?

 

5) Three keys and two remotes
6) Full tank of Premium gas
7) 32 psi (all 4 tires)
8) Sleeping pills for the night you'll pick up your S

 

dont forget to check that the door panels are the same color

 

9) Service Manual
10) Radio Code
11) Check the front for all rock chips (if used)
12) Check the seats to make sure they are in good condition (if used)
13) No holes in the top (if used)
14) CCTV camera and vcr to record your S at night while sleeping. That way if someone messes with it you have evidence. (Yes I am serious. I have one myself) hahahaha

 

Do the tonneau covers come with all S2000s when they are new? I ask because I am looking at used cars and most dont seem to have the tonneau in the trunk.

- floor mats
- spring spacers
- scrapes under front lip!

 

oil level.

 

I'm assuming you are buying new???
wheel locks WITH KEY
figure out where secret compartment is
figure out how to open gas fill cover
read the manual too

 

Thanks for that one...I did not know we get OEM wheel locks.

 

And check the oil level !!!
