So... bringing things back to the topic at hand here... I think a lot of the designs brought out around 2009 with wheel blisters and random body lines look hideous these days.
But have you seen modern day designs? Go visit a Lexus dealership... makes cars from late 2000's look like beauty queens!
Since the S2000 is now 20yrs old (first released in 1999) let's share some things that are younger than the car but have aged terribly.
I guess I'll start.
2004 Dodge Intrepid:
Sony Playstation 2 (2000)
In all seriousness - just about every US vehicle from the late 90's and early 2k's has not aged gracefully. There may be an exception here or there but most were crapola... hence the bailout...
It's lighter and has the better engine, responds very well to bolt ons unlike the S2K. Now when I say faster I mean in a straight line of course on track the S is superior.
C5 Z06
iPhone
Camera phones in general
Bluetooth
Facebook
Mainstream GPS
TEXT MESSAGING
Completion of the Human Genome Project
I have to disagree on the C5Z aging terribly. I biased though. Look at a C4.
Anything tech will have aged badly because it improves so rapidly.

Definitely true. Most all domestic vehicles from this time period haven't aged well.
aka. Dodge Neon, Chevy Malibu and Cavalier, Ford Taurus and Focus
I think even the mid-90s JDM supercars haven't aged soooo well. FD and Supra are both very round and bloated looking at many angles. NSX on the other hand will always look good in my opinion... S2000 too
