Are there any differences between the 07 and 08?

Yes there are differences- gauges, seats, suspension, TPMS, windshield tape, wheels.

My local dealers wouldn't honor the current lease offer on '07s (prolly cause they had several to move).
The reason they won't give you the lease deal is the residual on 07's is not near as good as 08's. It is always better to lease the newest version of the car. 07's are "dead" to Honda now so they offer big discounts for purchases. They wouldn't lower the capitalized cost near as much on a lease and the residual will be lower so you would be paying more as a result.

I have a 2007 Silverstone which I got last year. I like the new wheels on the 2008, but I like the two interior treatment on the 2007 better than the 2008. The 2008 has more red on the seat backs.

Here is my 2007:

You can get a great deal on a used AP1, I would pick that up and buy some upgrades.

I learned something new today, I previously thought all AP2's had the new gauge style.
