Default thinking about getting a 2002 s2000

i think it's a great bargain. thinking about getting it. 12K miles selling for $27K. i think that's a pretty damn good deal. there are a couple of places where the paint peeled off otherwise it's in excellent shape. did a carfax on it and found nothing wrong with the vehicle. BUT... the wife wants a 350z convertible which hasn't come out yet. we test drive the 350z (not the convertible one) the other day and she seems to like that one more. guess it's all of those nice little features inside the z. anyways, i still like to get the s2000 'cuz it's a steal for this price and much more fun to drive.

just wondering what your thoughts are on this one.

It's a pretty good deal but I think you could get another $1,000 off of that price. Also, due to the fact that many more dealers are selling at invoice nowadays, you may want to consider purchasing new if you are already willing to cough up $27k.

I think that even with another grand off the price you're still high. The best deal i've seen on an s2k so far was an '02 with 4k on it for $25k even. You might have trouble getting that, but something closer to that region would seem more reasonable.

Ya, I am with Munchee on this....... with well over 1000 S2000's for sale right now, you should be able to fiind a great deal!

I would think $24-$25k for a 2002 with low mileage would not be out of the question!

Just keep looking.
