Default Thinking about selling the S2k :(

Hello all. I am an epileptic and suffer from seizures. I've had three in the past week . I will be able to drive it in six months if I can behave myself. I love this car to death, but I hate having it sit in the garage when someone else could be enjoying it. I am the only one in my family that can drive stick... What should I do? Tom Selleck it, or just hang onto it? It seriously is a tough choice for me. Let me know what you guys think.PM me if you want to.

Thanks guys/gals,

-Josh

Is it paid off? Regardless, its only six months. Thats not a long time in the scheme of things. In addition, you will be able to drive it again. Its a no brainer to keep it because if you were to sell it, then when the six months are up, what are you going to want? Exactly, a S2k. Curious, why the six months time period?

If you need the money, sell it. Otherwise keep it.

teach someone in your family to drive stick (:

Iowa law requires you to be seizure-free for six consecutive months before you are allowed to drive on public roads again. So it would be early September before I can drive it again. And I owe 5 on it right now. But the payment is $400 a month so it will be paid off quickly

Many of us park our cars for 6 months every year for the winter. Seems to me that you can survive this.

There are also many of us that park our cars for 6 months or more each time we deploy. Start it once a week and roll it a little every week to keep the tires round and in six month you'll be back out enjoying your car. Mine is headed to my parents house soon, and will be there for at least 8-9 months. It's Ok though it'll be there with all of it's relatives. They also have a CRV, a Goldwing, a honda mower, a honda trimmer, and a honda generator. I think you'll regret it if you sale it. Six months is not that long.

I have had it parked since late October already. So it will be nearly a year before it can be driven.

The first car I ever bought was a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO. I beat the living piss out of that car nearly every day, but it just kept asking for more . But I think the poll kinda shows what I should be doing. You're right the S is a GREAT car to drive. And I don't drive it all that hard in town, as it attracts attention good or bad... I'll try and wait this one out. If I keep having issues with my seizures tho its gotta go. Thanks to everyone for the input. I really appreciate it.
