Default Thinking of a project. Some imput plz.

Well I have a 1982 Toyota Corolla. Its RWD I think its a wopping 70 horse or somthing. Well.... Its got a 1.8 so its not much smaller than the S2k motor. What if I tried to put the engine and trans of an S2k inside the car. That would turn a 1500 pound car with 70 horse into like a 1700 pound car with 240 horse.

Its either that or im going rotary with NOS no turbo. If I can get one of those inside the car. I'd have to definately fix up the body or it would break in half from rust but it sure would be fun. Have any of you seen this? Let me know.

There is an AE86 with an S2000 engine in it. It required a lot of custom fabrication to get it running. So if you have oh say about $10~$15k lying around yeah it can be done.

The guy with th 85 SR-5 coupe in hot verion even had the S2000 speedo and it was functional. Everything was done by him in his house. If you have the know how and the parts lying around, then by all means do it. If you are going to have someone perform this to your car then your not only wasting money, you're wasting time. So is this the solution to your thread earlier about easy HP from the S engine without Sc or Turbo?
