Default those with comptech side skirts.

I have comptech sideskirts rightnow on my car, with stock rims and stock height. I'm going to lower it about 1.25", but wondering if that back piece that sticks close to the ground is going to chip or get ripped off. Those of you with these side skirts should know what I'm talkin about. Anyhow, here's a picture of a S lowered with KG/MM with out the side skirts

This is TKG 26's car, you don't mind right TKG??

as you can see the ground clearance with out the side skirts, infront of the rear wheel, is already very little. I'm afraid with the side skirts, parts of it will chip off.

Can anybody with Comptechs and lowered S give me an input??

I can't help you out, but I do have a question for you. How do the side skirts from Comptech attach?

What I really want to know is, could you remove them down the road, and go back to stock form without knowing the comptech sides were ever installed?

Thanks.

Damn your car looks super clean!! I love the way it looks very very classy, i am glad to see that some people on these board know how to spend their money correctly. Unlike some peeps who turn their s2000's from nice to rice. Good Job!!

DigitalMan has the comptech skirts on his car (looks awesome). I'm pretty sure he hasn't lowered it, but you might PM him anyway to get his thoughts.

comptech side skirts don't require any drilling.
you use existing bolts and holes on the front/ back fender,
and 3M double sided tape on the body.

awWhHDayUm,
i have a set sitting in my room and
my car's lowered about 1.25- 1.4 with neuspeeds.
i'll install it in about two weeks and if you are still interested then, i'll let you know.

Sure, I probably won't lower it for atleast another month or more, since I'm getting rims first. Let me know how it turns out. You'll know what I mean if you just put the skirt against the body.
