For those that have traded in your S, details?
I am thinking about getting rid of the S for personal reasons, not because I don't like the car. I am thinking about getting a new sports sedan or coupe so I can get down to one car instead of having two. My question is for those who have traded in your S, what kind of value were you given on trade, and what was the details of your car (year, mileage, etc). It is going to make me sad to see her go, but some things in life are more important than VTEC (ok, not too much but you know what I mean). Thanks in advance!
Traded in my MY01 with 13k miles @ 14mos. for MY03 this past Halloween night.
I don't have any paper work with me, but I believe they gave me between
$25,500-26k for. I hope this helps you. And remember that you are going to get
more for it from a Honda dealer than from another make dealer. Good luck & sorry
that you have to get rid of it!

I got $US 24K for my 2001 Spa Yellow... in Jan 2003 with about 13K miles... perfect condition, impeccably maintained. It was a bit of a fight to get that much.
I had other dealers offering no more than $US 22K. Back in Oct. 2002 I had an offer of $US 25.5K for trade in.
Compared to what the trade-in values USED to be, the current situation is pretty bad, however, compared to the other cars out there, the S2000 trade-in value is still pretty good.
