For Those Who Want a SUPERCHARGER!
Hi JR,
I'm about to buy an S2000. I currently have a Prelude and I think what you did for the Prelude SC was awesome! If I wasn't buying an S2K, I woudl be buying a SC for my Prelude. Comptech has just dropped the ball on their SC. Please make an SC for the S2000. I want all that tourque the Prelude has in an S2000. You know people with the Prelude SC are running times faster or as fast as the people with the Comptech S2000 SC... I know you guys could propel the S2000 into the 12's. I plead with you to do so.

Some great info here... maybe we can get some issues resolved. Detonation can normally be reduced by "upping" the fuel pressure and cooling the charge. Maybe even give a voltage bump to the injectors allowing them to work a little more. Comptech has already replaced the fuel pump and fuel regulator. Some manufacturers offer "coolers" for both centrifigal and roots style blowers (I know Vortex makes one for even the "cent." unit).
I've got a few e-mails back from Comptech and as of this moment they seem to be happy with their current unit. What I haven't seen is a answer from anyone why they chose a centrifigal (high RPM boost unit) over a whipple or roots like they offer for the NSX? Or why Jackson hasn't stepped up to the plate with a production unit?
With the expanded production of the S2 into 2002 and probably 2003 and many owners wanting more HP's plus low-end sounds like a obvious product demand to me!

I want a sweet TT system. I guess single turbo would be fine...for drag racing, but for tracking and road racing...I want a sweet turbo system with very minimal lag...like in the 3rd gen Rx7 or super TT.

EZE8199 just posted on another general supercharger thread that he received an e-mail from Comptech that a "higher boost" unit was in the works. I believe this was a reply to this e-mail request. Let's keep up on this and SEND THEM MORE E-MAILS so they know there is a genuine interest from new buyers anxiously awaiting availability.
