Default Those of you with OEM AP1 or AP2 lips..

You guys know what I'm talking about. The tape that is affixed to the inside of your AP1/AP2 lip that you peel off when you mount it onto your bumper...where can I get some of this automotive-grade double-sided tape that doesn't damage the paint when I remove it?

My cousin has a Toyota Celica with an aftermarket lip that doesn't really align with the OEM screw holes so he has to resort to some kind of adhesive tape so that his lip will be more secure.

I've already gone to Office Depot and Staples but the only mounting tape they carry is used for interior decorative stuff, and all of them warn that damage will be incurred if the tape is removed.

Thanks!

Appreciate the suggestion, but I'd prefer not to go to a bodyshop just to purchase a roll of tape that'll probably cost me upwards of $50 just because it's "their" tape.

Anyone know if Autozone/Pep Boys/Kragen might carry this sort of stuff?

Thanks, I was looking for something like that

Autozone and Kragen sells this kind of tape, but they don't specify whether it will damage the paint upon removal.

erm I hope you can still get some screws through the lip into the bumper. I would not trust tape to hold on a lip at 100mph.
