Default Thoughts on Bronze wheels on a Silverstone

Specifically the bronze on Ce28n's which is sort of matte inside and shinier on the lip. I used to think that it was a pretty hot combo, but I've read a number of posters here that don't seem to like it. While Sebring with bronze seems fine. Now I'm a bit confused and apprehensive. I certainly like the combo, but am curious as to why some people don't like it. Thanks!

It's fine... but I prefer bronze with black or white.

Have you thought about going with gunmetal to sort of blend it with the Silverstone? I'll be going with this sometime in the future... but it may be too much silver for some

That's why I'm thinking of Bronze. I love the 04 wheels but need a change. Stock 04 wheels are silver 17". So I thought that I would A. Definitely have to go up to 18's and B. Definitely get a somewhat different color. I've always loved Bronze volks. I personally think they not only look agressive, but because of their amazing quality, they also look classy in a way. I considered 18" Mercury silver Ce28ns, but again, I thought the color might be too similar to the stock wheels (although I've never seen it in person). BBS LMs would be nice, but I find that although, extremely beautiful and classy, for just a bit more money, you can get into custom Kinesis wheels. Besides they weigh a ton.

Seems like people like the bronze on Sebring but not on Silverstone. Why is that? The colors are different, but they're not that different.

why 18's? the performance would likely be better with the stock 17's. unless it's only for looks.

Here are my bronze CE28Ns on Silverstone (I used to have Gunmetal and I like the bronze look a little better)

bronze/silverstone will grow on you. portland's ride is real nice. looks like a great combo and not everyone will have that setup.
