Thoughts on clutches...
I want to change my clutch come winter...I want to do it all, and get the right set up the 1st time...
(Comptech light flywheel...ACT PP...OEM Disk): This is the firs setup i was considereing, and HTG sells it for a reasonable price...I drove it before and i liked it...
Im also looking into an Exedy setup. What do you guys think?
Anyone running the Exedy? What stage? How you like it?

I've heard nothing but good things about the comptech/act combo however I can't say the same about the Exedys... as some people have stated a buzzing sound from it or early replacement..

Have quite a few guys with this exact setup on FI and all are happy

how much would you charge me to do a clutch install and some 4.57's if i supplied all of the parts? I would probably have to drive up on a saturday morning, or maybe a friday and just get a room friday night.

Had the Exedy hypersingle. Needed replacement after 20k miles.
Got the hardtop guy ACT pp, flywheel combo. Drives MUCH better than exedy. Pressure not as hard.
However, Exedy advantage is lower overall weight (more power to wheels), and crisper shifting.
Overall, I'm happier with the ACT combo since it's much easier to drive with. The engagement point is "normal". The exedy engagement point was all the way at the top.
